Kaieu smiled warmly at Amari. "Thank you Amari. I'm very glad you came. Go ahead and help yourself to some elk. Theres plenty for both of us." Kaieu said, a smile curving even further upwars. She scanned the surronding area, making sure that no one was around. "We should make a temporary den here. It might be a little safer." Kaieu said, accessing the different smells of bear and bobcat.

Amari chuckled lightly, ripping a strip of the meat and chewing it. It tasted good, but she wasn't took hungry. The excitement had pushed it away. "I'll help" she replied, looking for a good place.

Kaieu smiled happily, also searching for the right place to start building it. She smiled when she saw an indent in the land. She padded over. Inside was lush grass and the perfect soil. There was also a small pool of water nearby, and the lake. Kaieu turned back to Amari and called out to her. "Amari! Over here. Come tell me what you think of this spot." she said, starting to paw the ground.

Amari smiled, then, hearing Kaieu, she trudged to the spot. The place was perfect, and she smiled brightly. "Wow. It's perfect!" she smirked, taking a drink from the pool. This quenched her thirst, and she felt wanted.

Kaieu smiled at Amari. "Alright then. Lets get to work on digging it. Unless you want to rest first, in which case I'll start and you can help when your ready." Kaieu said, wanting Amari to have options. Kaieu nodded at Amari and spoke again. "The den will have just two chambers for now, one for storing food, and once for you and me." she said, starting to dig into the ground.

"I'm not tired. I'll help" she spoke, helping Kaieu to dig. Amari was used to making numerous dens in her travels, and her paws worked quickly. "What about Krypton..If he comes I mean" Amari added, saying it quickly. She didn't want Kaieu to be upset about Krypton.
"How big will the sleeping chamber be?" she asked, stopping her digging. She wasn't sure if Kaieu wanted it bigger or not.

Kaieu nodded at Amari, smiling reassuringly. "Its okay. I think, maybe enough for three of us? In case Krypton does come." she said, continued to dig out the main tunnel. In a few hours she was panting, but almost done. The only part left the last bit of the sleeping chamber.

Amari nodded, digging. She noticed Kaieu pant, and sighed. Amari herself wasn't too tired, she was an expert den maker, and had good endurance and lungs. Amari quickly thought about Aust, and sighed steadily. I miss him already.. But he never really liked me" she thought to herself, and kept on digging until she got the last bit done.

Kaieu smiled greatfully at Amari and sat down, gulping water down greedily. "I have to say, digging a den is much harder then bringing down a male elk." she said laughed. Kaieu rolled onto her back and closed her eyes, letting the sun warm her fur. She turned her head sideways to Amari. "So what made you decide to come?" she asked.

Amari smirked, but said nothing to Kaieu about the first thing. Amari sighed, taking a short drink and laying on her stomach. Amari felt suddenly saddened by the next question, but tried not to look it. "Oh, well, I was fed up with Destiny. I could see, even in my short time being there, that she caused alot of arguements.. And the guilt tripping angered me.. Plus, I didn't want to be around Aust" she suddenly chocked up at his name, and took another gulp of water.

Kaieu nodded slowly and rolled to her feet, walking over to sit next to Amari, trying to comfort her. "Well I'm glad you came. And I don't mean for this to hurt you, but Aust is so obsessed with Destiny, I don't think he would have noticed anyone else. And, yeah, destiny's way of leading was bugging me too." Kaieu said, hoping Amari was going to be okay. She was the first person she could openly talk to in awhile.

Amari smiled lightly and Kaieu, "I know.. I don't care about him anymore.." she sighed steadily, smiling again. "There are always others" it was more of a joke, as she wasn't ready to like someone, loving someone was out of the question.
"Do you think Krypton will come?" she questioned. Kaieu made her feel welcomed and wanted; a part of something.

Kaieu shrugged a little. "I'm not sure. I can't be 100% sure he likes me better." Kaieu said, trying to think about some reasons he would like her better. She didn't think there were many. He had reason to like Destiny better. For starters, they had known it other longer, and were probably closer. Kaieu sighed. I do hope he comes though. she thought to herself, his livid Ebony coat and dark eyes imprinted in her mind.

She smiled again, "Lets hope he comes" she grinned. Kaieu was the sister Amari never had. Yes, Amari had had a sister, but she didn't act like one. Licking her paws, she sighed, resting her head on her paws. "Do you think you and Krypton will..Have a pack?" she questioned. Pups oddly came to mind. She'd have fun babysitting them, if Kaieu and Krypton did have them, that was.

Kaieu smiled at Amari, so much more relaxed now that she was out of the Fenari pack. "Yeah, lets hope so. I don't know. I hope. It would be nice to have a family." she said. "So, you ready to find some bedding for the den?" she asked. "We cant sleep on dirt you know." she said starting to laugh.
