There are some pretty simple rules for when you role-play. Please be sure to follow them.
1. No cursing or graphic language is permitted. Keep it PG.
2. Type in complete sentences with correct grammar using punctuation. No chatspeak is allowed in the RP boards, though an occasional 'lol' or the equivalent is understandable in OOC speech.
3. No power-playing or god-modding. If you don't know the definitions of these words, check the thread entitled 'What is Role-Playing?'
4. Your character cannot be flawless or all-powerful. Nobody is perfect.
5. Limit the number of characters you play to the number you can keep active. If you get enough points and can RP actively with 10 characters, go ahead. If you can only handle 1, that's perfectly fine, too.
6. No slander or other forms of put-downs against others
7. Stealing of any kind, whether it be art or writing, is strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban from the site. This means that you cannot use any images that you do not own the rights to or that are not free to use.
8. Respect the staff members and other players. If you have a problem, be civil about it. The staff members are here to make the game run smoothly and help others, not to be pestered.
9. Characters should speak in bold text and think in italicized text.
10. Aleeria also has made an RP Guide under New Player Guides too, if you wanna check it out! It has some nice info in it!
11. In the beginner/intermediate role-playing places (Forest, Foothills), posts must be at least a paragraph. That means 3 or more sentences. In the advanced role-playing places (Grasslands, Summit), posts must be at least 2 paragraphs. That means 6 or more sentences at a minimum. I understand that writers block happens, but if you continue to post short responses, you will be warned and then fined.
12. You are not allowed to create your own RP thread unless you have been pre-approved by a staff member to start your own pack. You have 2 choices in any territory- RP in the pack thread if you want to join that pack or RP in the Outskirts. Any stray threads will be deleted and the points removed from your account.
13. You can only RP in one place at a time for each wolf. If you want your wolf to go somewhere else, you must post that you are leaving and then RP in another location. 1 wolf cannot be in 2 places at the same time.
If you feel anything else should be added here, just let one of the staff members know so they can put it up
