The meadows are located at a lower elevation than the mountains, making the climate very pleasant. All four seasons present themselves in a textbook way, but none are extreme. There is an average-sized river flowing through the forest that trickles down to little streams that sometimes dry up as it reaches the grasslands, making it sometimes difficult for the wolves in the grasslands to find water. The forest is filled with dense trees of many varieties that are home to a multitude of animals. There are also deer that roam around and plants that produce fruit such as berries and apples to satisfy the occasional omnivorous wolf. The grassland does not contain the shelter of the forest, but the tall grass makes it easier to stalk prey and work as a pack to bring it down. However, another wolf could stalk you easily without being seen. There is enough food here, with abundant rabbits and other rodents, but the deer do not venture out here as much.
