The slender female slunk through the forest, weaving in and out of the obstacles, low branches, fallen trees, and the like with an expert grace, as one used to living in the forest has learnt to aquire after a couple of months. Destiny had indeed had to learn the ways of the forest quickly, after her pack (what was left of it) was no longer safe. Deaths had crowded her only pup-hood, wit everyday filled with fight-training, and at the end of every session, a fight. To the death. She smiled a grim smile as she remembered.
Her, as a young pup, fighting an adolescent. The male was tall, stocky, and a mass of teeth and claws. Destiny onlu escaped from luck. She didn't fight to kill, she fought to defend. The adolescent held a grudge against her for permitting him to live, making him face the scorn of the elders, beaten by a small pup!
Her, a three year old, forced to fight her best friend. They had both playfought, and so realisticly that the onlookers believed they had both been thrown to the side of the arena by each other!
Her, a few days ago, confronted by the gang who were now ridiculed as being defeated by a small female! Yep, defense is the best form of offense.
She stumbled slightly, and somehow, did a neat sort of 'forward roll' landing crouched down on all fours, staring into the face a a fat, lazy rabbit. She killed it quickly, feeling no need to chase, and ate. A good meal at last. Amazed at her heightened reflexes, she ran even faster through the forest, confident that she would be safe as houses. After half an hour at least, she lay down in a clearing she nearly ran right through.
Destiny sniffed the ground and area. Clean. No other wolves. It was her territory to claim, so she did.

This place felt empty until a few seconds ago. But now, as I've traveled, I can smell the scent of another.
Krypton lifted his head to look above the deciduous bushes and ferns that shielded the rabbit trail. Even being on such a trail, he wasn't looking to hunt. Food was only fuel, to survive -- it held no pleasure to him. Because he already had enough, he did not search for fuel. No, the shadow character by the name of Krypton searched for someone of likeness; one that had crossed this same path not too long ago.
As the black male continued onward, his thoughts rekindled to his loneliness. Even though he tended to drive others away, he still remembered the warmth of his family, and would strive to feel it sometimes. His mind soon shut down after he heard a lot of noise. It sounded like someone running, so he began to trot in pursuit of it. It had taken a long time, but Krypton soon found the source of the noise and scent. It turned out that it was a wolf, and a sleeping one at that. I wonder what I should do next. He walked a couple feet away from his looking spot, and waited.

The ever alert female opened one eye, but stayed in her position. "You wouldn't wanna try anything. Did you by any chance meet a band of brutes with their legs between their tails on your travels?" Now the silver wolf rose, fur like shimmering quicksand. Icy blue eyes searched the wolf's face for any signs of violence, or harmful intentions. She couldn't find any, but quickly noted that he was of average height, bordering on tall. No markings, no visible ones anyway. Just pure blackness. If size mattered, he could beat her in a fight. But since only skill mattered, she'd have a fair chance if he got aggressive.
"This is my territory. You're welcome to join up with me if you wish, or just stay on my land, just no fighting, or ambushing. I mean, I don't mind...this erm...pack of...me. It's called the Fenari, the fearsome fighters, the peace lovers, the plentiful, in one word. So I hope you can fight, if you need to, be calm, and...are good with...mating and...stuff." She broke off. Not being with anyone for years had bad effects on the young adult.

After having lazy eyes for a few minutes, Krypton had to focus again to fully see the wolf ahead of him. He could have sworn that he had himself covered by being behind a couple of bushes, but now that he looked around, he was very much out in the open. After Kryp had gotten on to all fours, yet before he could speak, the granite female gave her requirements. Krypton listened closely to all that she said and kept perfect eye contact the whole time. For all that it's worth, Krypton didn't downsize female wolves one bit-- if anything, he'd put his money on them. By experience, he knew that female wolves usually had an ornate temperment and good fighting skills, as proven by his sister, mother, and plenty of others. While they could catch his eye every once in a while, Krypton made it a point to watch his back around the female species.
When she had finished talking, Krypton went over what she said and prepared to reply.
"I don't recall seeing such a group,"
He began to say truthfully, and continued on.
"But I'm sure it would have been a nice sight to see, so I'll keep an eye out for them in all seriousness."
He thought once again, but he couldn't bring himself to reply just yet. Now, what's this about fighting and being calm? And uh.. mating? He assumed that she with was either a little ill or very nervous in front of other wolves, so he didn't comment on the last part.
"I have been on the look out for a good pack to join, so if the offer is real, I think I would like to accept. Do I personally have any requirements? I'm sure my name isn't known around here, but it also doesn't have any marks. Plus, by what you have said you've done, and how your confidence is held tells me that you have nothing th worry about when inviting me to join. Is that all correct?"
Krypton felt good about how he had addressed things. He tried to be sincere and keep his own personality in the whole mix.

"Umm...yep. I meant good not god, and I don't usually get nervous, actually very nervous, except since you look like someone who once tried to kill me and succeded in killing my mother..." She trailed off. Now a sudden calmness washed over her.
"Sorry about that. My nightmare's sometimes trigger off strange behaviour. That's the first time in a year."
The (now appearing to be) platinum wolf relaxed, but tension remained, ready to spring if needed.
"And you don't have to stay if you want." ((Hiding the forlorn look that would've appeared on her face)) "Since I have literally only just started this pack, there's only me." She turned away in shame, expecting the (rather handsome) male to turn the other way and hightail it somewhere else, to find a...more full pack.
The new leader once again walked gracefully into the river, the slim and fit body letting the water wash over it like a waterfall. Water always calmed her, after the men intruding on her old pack had killed many with fire.
"Or you could just stay!" Came the gargling of bubbles. Luckily, as she was underwater, Krypton probably couldn't hear her.
Destiny reluctantly jumped out of the river, with a clear head.
"Dig, make dens. Than find a couple of rabbits for food later. Then I don't need to hunt for a while." She made a mental list in her head. To a wolf who was stupid, or ignorant, she would have seemed crazy, but she wasn't.
She braced herself, and began to try and make a den. She didn't get very far. It was not her job, and she only knew how from watching the den-builders as a very young pup. Help was needed.

ooc: I figured you'd meant good xD
BIC:
Krypton wasn't sure how to reply to the comment about his appearance. No, he wasn't "offended", but he could feel her confidence being shaken the longer she talked.
"I think this area and pack-to-be is fine," Krypton began to say while she walked away. He didn't understand why she passed judgement over herself before he even confirmed his answer, or even acted like he would judge her. After a quick trot to follow her to the river, Kryp took a seat on the bank. He watched her go under for a few seconds, and then come up. "My name is Krypton," He said to her in between breaths. After she had finished discussing with herself about building dens, he continued. "What's your name? I think we should know each other's name if we're going to be in the same pack."

"Yes. I'm Destiny, and despite what I've said, I am glad that you decided to stay. After two years, I have become lonely." TO her annoyance, a pretty and alluring smile crept onto her face. She quickly got rid of it. She had got the message that leaders weren't meant to have fun! She blushed furiously, glad that he couldn't see the flush that already crept up her face when she saw him. Love had crept in the air, though all Destiny felt from him was a cold curiosity, so she hid her feelings, for now...
"Umm...ranks of course will be added, if anyone finds us out here, in this deserted forest, where only the fuel lives. But seriously, all thoughts of ranks forgotten, can you please help me with the stupid dens!" A bit of her old puppy personality showed through, the obsinate, stubborn little thing who often got into scrapes, but always help the elderly who were sneered at.

ooc: Aww, now I feel bad for Destiny D;
Krypton nodded, and understood completely. Lonliness had also hugged his personality and changed it something he hadn't wanted. He found it hard to communicate his feelings and such, as Destiny did. Kryp grinned lightly as he saw the remains of a faint dab of pink in her cheeks after smiling happily. He missed the overall notion of it, but it made him feel more at home. "Sure, I'd be happy to help build a den," Kryp said willingly as he looked around. He wasn't any expert at building dens, but surely he and Destiny could pull it off. It was just digging, after all. "Maybe we should dig it into the slope over there, so we can make the tunnel with a smoother curve." With his mind now set on chosing the spot, Krypton trotted over to the small sloped land. He lowered his muzzle to ground to see what scents lay there, but the coast was clear.

"Yeah, good idea. Okay, no other scents, albeit old ones. A river nearby, and plenty of food. Anything we missed?" She flashed a quick grin at him, while she started digging in the proposed spot. She was quite slow at the digging, but they were neat, and the right size, with cover to hide the dens if needed.
"How far down should we dig?" Destiny asked, 'pretending' (or rather, forgetting) that they were different ranks, just helping each other out.
'After all, two is hardly enough to call a pack.' She mused silently. 'And he seems far more Alpha material than me'
She now dug with a sudden spurt of energy, making it almost perfectly neat, but she decided to neaten it up after it was made. 'Looks aren't everything.' She thought, nervously glancing at Krypton. Maybe he would see past her ugly grey coat and cold blue eyes...?
((Hah, she's being overly harsh on herself, she really think she's ugly, poor thing xD))

ooc: Aww, Destiny sounds like a cute wolf ^^ (who needs some of that extra pride that Krypton has x)
"Don't think so," Krypton said in a buttered tone after Destiny had listed the key elements in the land. It seemed to have everything they would need. Once Destiny had begun digging, Kryp joined in to one side in helping dig their den. I thought dens were for puppies, but I guess I wouldn't mind sleeping a den.
Just short of very dirty fore arms, they both were doing a nice job at the digging. Once they had gotten a couple feet below the surface, Destiny asked an important question that he hadn't thought of. How would they know how deep to make it? "Hmmm. We really wouldn't want it to collapse, but realistically, we've probably dug far enough." Krypton didn't suggest that they start to curve the tunnel since he wasn't in charge, but he silently started doing so. Even so, it didn't bother him much that Destiny had the first claim at being the alpha, and there for was the alpha. It might have been her overly friendly vibes or slight lack of pride that made him feel more relaxed. Either way, things had turned out well between them so far.

Aust was weary from running his heart out. He felt so free traveling, and freedom was his aspire. His radiant coat gleamed through the light openings in the trees. Aust bent his head to take a drink from a cold lake, and looked past the crystal water to spy a small mouthed bass. He lifted his head and moved around the trim of water. The jade scales glimmered in the light and shifted in the currents. He let out a smile and got ready to try and catch it, but all of the sudden a russle came out of a near by bush and fightened it off. Aust bent into a run and pounce possition for a quick catch. A white rabbit emerged into the open and nibbled the soft blooming peddles of a daisy. He sprinted for the rodent and it ran as fast as it could trying to lose him by going under and through logs, sharp turns, and steep drops. The hare almost reaches it's den, but... SNATCH! Aust had made a jump for the animal and grabed it's leg in his teath. Tonight would be his first dinner in this new land, he wanted it to be good. He carried the catch back to a large rock he slept near and began to sink his teath into the delectable meat and savored every last drop. His electric blue eyes lite as he licked his paws clean. The smell of another wolf, maybe even more! this excited him very much, he thought his pack had came back for him at last. But then he realized that that alpha was a non-forgiving trator, he would never travel the globe to find one wolf. His cruel past haunts him even to this day......a flash seams to apper and blind his eyes when a picture appears.
He was a young pup, Aust, was a free wind romping around 'till and splashing in the water on hot summer days. Until the day he was foolish enough to go against the alpha. The alpha was leading the pack into a barron wastland were no life lived. He had claimed there was lush land were food was plenty on the other side of it, but Aust knew was wrong. After he spoke up and told the rest of the pack his lies the cruel alpha bansehed him and left him behind.
Reality came back and a shiver prickled down his hard frozen spine. Today was big and night is aproching quickly. He layed down and tucked his head away waiting and watching...carefuly.

Destiny too had dug in a curve, but off in slightly the other direction, so that they could link all the dens together, but be separate. That way they could have a food den, low down in the ground, to keep it cool. Even a wolf knows that it's better for keeping the food.
Suddenly her ears perked up, as she was sure Krypton's would've.
She slunk aout of the tunnel, stealthily. She had smelt a whiff, of wolf, but it was neither Krypton's or her's. She couldn't see the wolf, but was sure that they had smelt her aswell.
The cracking of a twig made it certain there was another wolf in the woods.
"Come out." She said, before turning to Krypton's tunnel, certain that he would have heard.

Aust heard a voice calling to someone, or him. He stood up as quietly as he could and leaned to the call. Prowling the area he came upon two wolves constructing a den.
"Hello, my name is Aust, I come in good intentions." He looked straight into the others eyes.
" Please help me, I search for your alpha for judgement...." He said, regreting to wait and get to know everyone first. But what is done is done for now.
He settled down and truely relaxed himself, lose bones and light breathing. 'this could be it. I still have a chance for recovery!'

Krypton soon saw Destiny's plan for the tunnel, and was very impressed. She had begun turning at an angle to create two tunnels. Kryp continued with his side of the tunnel until he was almost done. All it needed was to be smoothed out a little, but that would have to wait. Something was going on outside.
"Who is it, Destiny?" He asked as he trotted out of the tunnel. At first his voice was surging with confusion, since it sounded like she was talking to someone, but once he finished talking, his tone and glare tightened. Kryp didn't make any sudden movements to "attack" this new comer, but his tail was curled up across his back. "Right now, Destiny is the alpha," Krypton told him after relaxing a bit and to answer Aust's question. He spoke no more, since it was Destiny's right to have full control in the situation. He actually hoped she didn't mind that he had intervened.

"I supose you are Destiny then?" He looked back to the wolf he was talking to earlier.
"Well, than please is there a way I may join your pack?" He showed no emotion and keeped a poker face. He looked back over to the Black wolf. Aust consealed his emotion tword him, his face was unforgiveing and his soul seemed blackened. 'I have no right to judge him, not yet.' he thought.
